Other leagues may have a low team/player entry fee but charge spectator fees, which can end up being an effective team fee of $1800+ and significantly higher if more than 2 spectators attend to watch their player.

NFLBL/BC JrNBA already has over 30 teams in the district and 120 teams in the region pre-registered. The League Director & Board will consider Club teams on a case-by-case basis to even up divisions and/or to maximize the level of competition in the A divisions. Submitting this form does not guarantee a spot. The director will respond ASAP if there is a spot available and if so will send info on how to submit the team fee.

  • Roster minimum 8 players
  • Coaches must wear a professional shirt with their team name identifying them as coach
  • Team uniforms must be consistent with numbers clearly displayed

SEASON DATES
Saturdays and possibly Sundays 1/10 thru 2/28 7 games guaranteed with playoffs for at least the teams ranked in the top half of the pool play division, so typically ends up being a 7-10 game season.

Some AAU/Tournament teams could play their games on a Weeknight

Club Team Standards & Expectations

  • Roster minimum 8, max 15
  • Teams are placed in the league based on estimated skill during the first part of the season and as teams play, based on evaluation, they will move up or down in the league until we reach the pool play portion of the season. Then the divisions and rosters are generally locked and the teams qualifying for end-of-season tournament play will be formed from pool play performance. If we do not level enough to create pool play final playoff/consolation configuration will be based on overall performance determined by the board.
  • Players must participate in at least 3 of the season’s final 4 games to be eligible to play in the playoff tournament. At roster lock week a final roster with an identifiable player portrait and name must be submitted online (No last minute ringers allowed)
  • Coaches must wear a shirt with the team name identifying them as coach
  • Team uniforms must be professional with a white/home, color/away configuration.
  • Jersey & shorts consistent in color and style (Automatic 2-point penalty assessed for each player entering the game with a uniform violation)
  • Jersey numbers are clearly displayed on the back and preferably on the front. Duplicate numbers OK
  • IMPORTANT – The game day coach is responsible for their team and spectator behavior. Any behavior deemed inappropriate by the game day director, court monitor, scoretable personnel or referee may be cause for forfeit, removal and after board review may be subject to immediate league play dismissal without refund of the team fee.
